a very unusual & elegant Sterling silver handled BOOT hook in an Art Nouveau style by unknown London maker (SR). The unusual element is the length (18 inches) and slimness and might have been specially commissioned for a lady who disliked the more common heavy London boot hooks. It has clear assay marks for London 1892

One of the best Arts & Crafts buttonhook & shoehorn I have seen for a long time from the Dominic & Haff factory  formed in 1872 in New York NY USA. Heavily weighted in all-Sterling construction, the  surfaces of both buttonhook & shoehorn are spot hammered mirroring the hand crafted look

Item reference: 3494
Dimensions: shoehorn 10 inches, buttonhook 8 and 3/4 inches overall
Condition: perfect antique original
Price: £120 GB

an all-brass novelty glove buttonhook with rowing boat and anchor chain. Believe it or not, this is a genuine antique buttonhook despite it being a little awkward to hold comfortably in the hand!

Item reference: 3498

Condition: distortion to the hook end, otherwise good antique original
Price: £25 GB
