rare example of an all-silver glove hook by Tiffany & Co, founded 1837 as Tiffany & Young and from 1853 onwards as Tiffany & Co  inc. New York USA. Tiffany became famous for it’s Art Nouveau designs and this glovehook with fishtail is typical of silverware from the early 1900’s

an all-silver antique Chinese Export silver buttonhook with embossed chrysanthemum  flowers from unknown maker established in Shanghai or Canton. The chrysanthemum flower features alongside prunus flowers on many Chinese silver dressing items and the “shepherds crook” hook is typical of the genre.
