Over the final weeks of 2007 and into 2008 we
have been offering a very large collection comprising most categories of buttonhooks
from The Anna Stilwell Collection.
Apart from the remaining buttonhooks listed on
this page, the bulk of the collection is now sold. NEW buttonhooks not related to the Anna
Stilwell Collection will still be listed as usual on the Buy

this folding penknife type glovehook is one of the
best I have seen. The silver scales on each side are
marked D&F for Deakin & Francis of Birmingham and
the steelwork is by Harrison Bros & Howson of
Sheffield. The date letters are rubbed but it is
likely to be from the mid 1880's. With it is
included a top quality silver handled boothook
hallmarked William Comyns, London 1901. I have
priced it low because the steel shank looks to have
been a replacement. |
